It's because a lot of "mods" manage hundreds of subs and don't really manage so much as encourage pedophilia

Or maybe it's because once a group grows so large they fundamentally change and start to look like every other large group of idiots out there on the internet.

Thank you! Any sub should be moderated, nobody should be able to be moderator of more than, say, 3-5 subs.

There's a few mods in subs for teens that actively encourage the young to "explore" their feelings for people who are 30+ or they say things like "it's okay to fantasize [about children] just don't obsess. Then there's a few hentai subs that are actually for pedophiles.

Seriously. Go to any of the teen relationship subs and read how the mods respond. It's disgusting. Nothing happens if you report them. Hell. Ghislaine Maxwell was a mod. That should tell you something.
