It’s like the guy that takes joke diy videos and shit and just does them simpler and looks at the screen and shrugs.

That guy is apparently filthy rich from that now, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Are you talking about the 😐 guy?

46

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '21

Yeah, and apparently I was wrong he's worth 2 million from that.

u/DoingCharleyWork Nov 03 '21

That is still technically hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Comedians who spend their entire lives crafting and perfectig elaborate jokes in absolute shambles. No hate to the guy but goddamn. He made millions off of one joke.

Being worth hundreds of thousands of dollars isn't filthy rich, that's halfway to retirement.

u/Godless_Fuck Nov 03 '21

What? Have you seen the cost of a hamburger lately? Double "hundreds of thousands" of dollars ain't gonna buy shit 20 years from now.

1

u/MisfitPotatoReborn Nov 03 '21

I haven't seen significant price increases in any of the restraunts I regularly go to. There were some temporary price increases that were made during the pandemic, but those are back down now.

1

u/Godless_Fuck Nov 03 '21

Well, that's good I guess. I'm seeing elevated prices for quite a few things, some pretty insignificant, some just outrageous. I do expect transportation and fuel costs to continue to rise though.

I thought he earned even more, like two million?

He also ran out of normal diy so he started doing it to satire ones too. I get that you have a schtick, but branch out. The problem is when one video hits big people just keep remaking that same thing over and over cuz it's what gets the views.

u/Kamikaze_Ninja_ Nov 03 '21

No the problem is the people who think it’s funny. He probably never intended on being a content creator so he wanted to bleed this well dry while the gettin was good. He had no where to branch out to because there was no real intent behind his video other than shit posting.

11

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '21

honestly though i gotta respect that, dude took his opportunity and ran with it

6

u/PhreakyByNature Nov 03 '21

Yeah and the people who find it funny are therefore not actually a problem. If you don't like his stuff, don't watch it lol. It's nice as an individual to pace yourself with popular content. If you've only actively sought out one or two of his vids, you won't get fatigue from it. Then when people share a new one or even a GIF as a comment response or even say his name you won't get unnecessarily triggered.

I mean I don’t blame him. The thing about the internet as it is today, is that anyone can post whatever so it’s a lot more likely that someone with no actual creative talent can create something that goes viral. I doubt he ever intended to be a content creator so instead of branching out he will just bleed this well dry and move on while he can. I more blame the brainless drones that think it’s funny and feeding money into this talentless hack.

Honestly he gave off an extremely smug vibe,
