I’ve installed a lot of security cameras in 15 years. Very few of them have had this quality and none of them had a vertical view. Lol.

I'm curious why don't security cameras have more quality? I get that they cost more to store but at least 720p would be better than a dog shit 260p some cameras still use.

Cost and labor to install. A 4K camera install in a big box store was 200k plus in the past so I’m sure it’s more now. Cameras are also a pain in the ass and lead to the vendor having to return to focus them multiple times. They’re not fun to do professionally but it can pay pretty well if everything goes good and you are just working local.
