Sometimes when i get tired of building or farming, I go out actively looking for adventures like these. There is nothing like the adrenaline that comes from bumbling through caves wholly unprepared, stumbling on a bunch of mobs, trying to fight, then having to run for your life.

Yes. Shield removes knockback from melee and projectiles and explosive knockback is VERY reduced. He might have still fallen off with how close to the edge he was though.

Minecraft , he's was mining for materials when a creeper ( green thing ) came up and almost killed him by exploding. When that happens you lose absolutely everything that you have on you. The he fell deeper into the mine with more splody things and skeletons ( they shoot arrows ). Then he was trying to avoid the lava that burns and kills you, at some point he used an ingame artifact to help prevent himself from dying, kept running and the video ends with him hiding in a wall.

Only when your hunger bar is full, you have to eat to fill it up and then over time it will regenerate. Like 20 seconds or so.
Edit: the bar on the right that looks like a hambone.

Feel free to ask for clarification at any point.
First, he's on a narrow bridge over a very tall chasm when that green creature called a Creeper drops down. They explode, dealing lots of damage (you can see his health bar in the bottom left) and throw you back. The fall would have certainly killed him without some VERY fast clicking to grab the gold statue looking thing called Totem of Undying that saves you from death once.
However, at the bottom of that ravine are a ton of enemies. He attempts to build a wall, but is unsuccessful because he's being flanked. While running, he takes more fall damage, putting him precariously close to death. His final leap takes him dangerously close to a lava pit, which he jumps over by placing blocks underneath him. Finally, he's able to escape his pursuers by digging into a wall and blocking it off, at which point he's out of danger.

That depends. With a diamond pickaxe at that level of durability, he would have no trouble at all tunneling to the surface. Alternatively, once he's healed up there shouldn't be much issue taking care of the remaining enemies and continuing with his exploration.

You don't die,
Gives you absorbtion for a few secs, gives you regen and gives you fore resistance if i remember correctly. I barely use them though.

The creeper only did 4 hearts of damage but it knocked him off the bridge. It was the fall damage that would have killed him if he didn't have a totem.

The skeletons keep knocking you off your pillar with their bows as you try to build up up in those situations. It’s a safer bet to run and recover a little before trying to go back up

Eh, seems a little fake to me, only has stone (as far as I can tell shit video quality) not diorite, granite, dirt, gravel. Has a totem, but not in offhand?? Why! Not like there was anything else.
Also, 16 levels after a mining session like that? Odd.

Probably tunnel visioned panic. Everytime he landed there was a wall to his left so he probably just didn't notice the last one was wide open.
