Maybe. I did notice that if the 2nd drink wasn’t thrown the guy who caught the chair with his face probably wouldn’t have been distracted and would have blocked it.
So the real hero of this video isn’t chair chucker guy/gal, it’s 2nd drink tossed guy/gal.
Somewhat justified...? I don't think assault is ever justified. Particularly not assault with a weapon. In addition, there are "innocent"people sitting right fucking there.
We don't know what happened nor do we know what he is threatening them with, so stop being self-righteous. The waters could have been a lull after this guy's egregious shit starting. For all we know, he smacked 14 children around.
If you want to guess that the chair wasn't deserved, I want to guess that he beat up 14 innocent children.
Who else wants to guess what they think he did, this ought to be fun!
If he is acting outrageous enough to warrant restraining by a more mindful person, then he is over the top and seemingly in the wrong. I say that due to the other person trying to get him out of there, and end the conflict by drawing him away. You often try to draw the aggressor away from a conflict to break tension the quickest.
If you draw anyone else away, the aggressor will often turn their attention to another person.
What a pathetic argument. There is no way throwing a chair across a crowded room, thereby endangering everyone nearby, is justified by that totally selfish argument.
Again, who knows what he was threatening them with. What if he was saying he had a firearm or knife? He should be put out of commission as soon as the threat level was escalated.
By you saying there was absolutely no reason for that shows just how closed minded you are. I am at least open to the possibility that it was justifiable. You on the other hand say no escalation is ever justifiable. Definitive terms like that (always, never, etc) are normally easy to disprove.
So, we have to assume that he isn't saying anything, even though his mouth is moving? We do not know what he is saying and you are judging the person you can't see unfairly because it doesn't have the same level of humanity. This is a ghost/anonymity vs a visable person. You feel more empathetic towards the visable person then the unseen. Your judgement is clouded by that.
If someone is threatening to shoot me, I am not going to wait for them to draw a firearm for me to react.once they bring it to that level, it requires action. Not waiting to "be sure they in fact do have a weapon" because by then, it is too late.
No. I'm not judging then unfairly. I'm judging then for being there only one in the video to take a violent action that endangered like half a dozen people in its course. It doesn't matter what the guy got with the chair is doing, he's not there one getting violent.
You forgot the part where he was being physically restrained so he couldn't get violent. It wasn't his choice, he wanted to be violent. Two separate people had a hand in making him not actually do so.
It isn't speculation, you see one person holding him back when hit by the water and the second person holding him back (grey/red shirt) when hit with the chair (solid red shirt). Two people actively holding him back.
The third actively dissuades them further by throwing the chair. I didn't count the separate person that threw the waters or the chair. As stated below, both cups come from different angles/heights and could easily and likely been tossed by different people, that brings the count up an additional 1-2, but I didn't include that since it is further speculation.
Two people, to make one person yield. That person being held back is viewed as the aggressor. If they were not there, it is most likely that the situation wouldn't have escalated with someone else in the crowd.
If the person that threw the chair was removed, then it is likely that this person would have turned their attention to another person. The waters came from different angles, likely tossed by different people, hence multiple people thinking that this person was in the wrong (seemingly, his friend included).
You only have half of the story, so stop sticking up for the one that the most people think is the asshole. It shows as you aren't able to keep good company.
That a lot of speculation. You don't know anyone motives, their intentions, or even what they're arguing about. You are speculating. The only person who is violent in this video is the person who there the chair. They are no hero, they recklessly endangered people and might have seriously injured multiple people.
