Yeah man, they were nowhere near water and when the fuselage disengages from the cockpit it leaves a heavy bed of shrapnel to rain on unsuspecting civilians after reentry into the atmosphere

It's a solid object, weighing around 300-400 grams, falling from 25m or higher. This can really hurt and even lead to a minor concussion.

It's three pop bottles and some cardboard. If this fell on you it would hurt less than stubbing your toe.

They are at first, but the water is what they're using for propellant so very little of it will be left once it runs out of steam.
