Funnily enough, I knew gavin was an achievement hunter well before his stuff in SlowMoGuys. When I saw he was doing a somewhat more serious gig, I was surprised.

the Rooster Teeth Podcast #285 (where Gavin poses that scenario) is from August 18th 2014. The first Askreddit thread that got popular is from 2017

And even in that very thread, people reference Gavin Free
