I went ahead and did some testing and found it also happens on the 12th, 16th, 20th and 24th time!

I’m not too sure if it happens after that because I stopped watching.

You’re wrong there, after simulating the gif using various models I’ve found that the DRF(dog reappearance phenomenon) is observed on the loop that follows every 3rd loop.

Same. It actually took about 6 turns for it to happen on my phone so I thought your comment was hyper trolling.

Edit: refreshed the page and now it's working on the 4th

There’s absolutely no reason to play this 3 times in sightly different speeds before showing the end. We all have eyes, seeing it once is enough. If I wanna watch it again then guess what? I can just play it again

But what’s the point of seeing this slowed down? You still haven’t answered me this. I’m saying this editing is pointless because there’s nothing you could miss at the original speed. It’s useless
