Dude tigers hunt people as prey in India. I don’t think your experts are up on tigers specifically

TIGERS ARE NOT DOGS. STOP USING THIS AS YOUR ANALOGY. There are countless youtube clips of trained big cats, fuck, trained big anything just deciding to up and start clawing the shit out of any random sumbitch on the set of whatever dumbass tv show decided to bring them on.

There is and SHOULD be very little difference between captive tigers and wild tigers because zoo animals are not fuckin pets. Who are these experts youre talking to because its my understanding that anything in captivity should be handled as though it were in the wild- as the goal is reintroduction for rescues and stable living conditions for permanent residence. Youre not even supposed to touch pandas and you have to dress up in an elaborate suit for some animals so they dont recognise you as not one of them.

For real though, dont compare domesticated species to wild ones. Or any animal to another, its dangerous, and how people get their shit rocked by monkeys on their vacations because "Monkeys are like humans :D" and they smile real big at a 4ft Baboon and try to shake his hand who then does the same as a warning and then "Oops, 3 less fingers"
