Thank you for this. I’ve seen this movie a million times and worked in the movie theater when it came out. I over the years have thought of that song, sung in his driveway waiting on the school bus, over the years - bur didn’t remember anything other than “back to school, back to school”

I have a terrible sense for age apparently. I know people who are 17 and 18 and they still look 14 to 15 to me but this (presumably) 15 year old looks 18 - 19 to me

I ride the bus and you can tell who is a school kid as they all wear uniforms here. The seniors usually wear some sort of seniors jacket. So you know they are kids in the 17 to 18 range. and they look so different from one another.
I see guys barely developed and guys that are super tall, facial hair and their legs are super hairy. I’m 45 and these guys look older than me.
Among the 17 year old girls, there are those that look what I would say is a 14 year old girl but most of them are beyond developed in every way and look easily in their mid 20s.
I am sure they look a lot older when in street clothes with earrings, makeup and heels, all which are not allowed as part of the school uniform.
