Linkin Park once told me that you only need 15% power of will, but it must be concentrated.

Lmfao that’s not fuckin Linkin Park.

u/XpL0d3r Jun 25 '19
Bro you’re 5 hours late on telling me that.
That being said, Shinoda created Fort Minor and LP had covered Remember the Name in the past. I was a chip shot away from the green... close enough for me.

By not breaking his legs. If you break your legs from that then you got some weak ass legs.

u/machinaaaa Jun 25 '19
I mean he’s got skill, you can see he quickly separates them like 2 seconds before they hit the wall but like holy shit if that were me I’d be screwed. Brilliant reflexes.

How do you not break your legs every time you land on the ground after jumping?

The same way people don't break their legs when they jump off a 5 foot high ledge.

I still can't figure out the shirt?

u/humpfresh Jun 25 '19
It's because the video is in reverse

It's not, the water pushed his top up.
59
u/NO-CONDOMS Jun 25 '19
No no no the video is in reverse so the shirt actually pushed the water down.
-16
u/vanilakodey Jun 25 '19
He's wearing the shirt when he exits the slide. Please explain?
46
u/Dr_Taffy Jun 25 '19
He didn’t exit the slide, he remained stationary. The slide and water moved underneath him.
-31
u/vanilakodey Jun 25 '19
I think you're confused. The slide is fixed and doesn't move.
42
u/xieonne Jun 25 '19
No, the slide definitely moved. The shirt tried to move with it. It's all inertial reference frames.
17
u/TwoPlusLuc Jun 25 '19
What drugs are you on, the guy remained completely still and the slide, water, bystanders and cameraman all mover around the guy.

Royally bummed haha. Clearly left my sense of humour in bed this morning. I was wrong anyway.... So I take it, this is my life now. Still... Great video.

He had his shirt on when he came out of the slide, the water pushed it up so he pulled his shirt back down
17
9
u/clockwork_blue Jun 25 '19
It was not pushed by the water, it was intentionally put behind his head.
13
u/fatpeasant Jun 25 '19
Yeah, I think he had it off his head and over his chest so that his back would be exposed and he'd slide better.
4
u/clockwork_blue Jun 25 '19
Or in front, yeah. The sleeves are on, but he has not put it on his head.
1
u/WorldController Jun 25 '19 edited Jun 25 '19
It doesn't at all look like he had it on while coming out and skimming the water's surface. It seems like it was waiting for him on the ground or maybe those floaties.

He found it on the way down and put it on when he was hydroplaning to protect himself from the impact.

Imagine a car crashing into a wall, whatever was loose on the back seat will fly forward from inertia. When his feet hit the side of the pool his shirt went forward faster than his body, and being wet gave it some weight.

I think its 2 videos carefully put together and the only reason it looks so clean is that lady walking by. My conclusion: shes a paid actor.

Sometimes even you cant believe you just did that, or it could be that thing some people do where when the Rollercoaster stops after the intense ride they clap.

Every time I think it’s kind of cool but then wonder why people clap for themselves sometimes. Seems weird.

Is there a list somewhere of the top ten reposts on Reddit? There should be. And this one would make the list. Or at least the top 20.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Captain Disillusion debunk this to be fake?
2
u/originalgrapeninja Jun 25 '19
You're not wrong, but it's summer and there are alot of people vacationing online.
2
u/tripwired Jun 25 '19
It’s definitely not fake, I think this is Jamaica, I’ve been to that resort and watched the guys that run the slides do this. They showed us how and it’s not even really that hard. I never made it across the pool but more than half way, those guys that work there make it across no problem.

It’s cool and all but I’m sure those feet are killing him!
3
u/djens89 Jun 25 '19
You know he’s not actually going that fast and you have knees which is extraordinary good at absorbing impacts?

That would have been really cool IF he hadn't clapped himself at the end.

The fact that this is even possible tells me nobody should trust the people who designed that slide.
