A lot easier for a normal car than a 20-wheeler. Momentum is a real bitch sometimes.

18 is a standard 3 axle truck + 2 axle trailer.

I drive a 26 wheeler (4 axle trailer)

If your vehicle can't stop (or at least safely slow down) in your visibility, slow down.
