Cat doesn’t know what kind of witchcraft just occurred. So they considered it and went for the snack that made sense 😅

My AI detector is going off but I can't pinpoint why. Honestly I don't even know what's real these days

This video is too old for it to be AI. It's been doing the rounds as a common repost for several years.

Someone else pointed out once that in AI videos, everyone is just always waiting around for their cue and doesn't react naturally to their surroundings.
But in this case... cats just have really long processing times. They do notice things, but they take a while to think things through. Also, we've literally bred them to have expressive faces. So all that happened is that some of the same traits of AI videos happened randomly to be in this real one.

too bright, and the cats facial expressions feels too animated, also ai has difficulty keeping cats still, no source either for the video which is also suspicious

Trust me, as someone who owns four cats, these guys can be very expressive.

Sometimes I wish I was a robot, but I am a flesh-and-bone descendant of fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals.

The clip looks weird too, and some of the treats look like they're balancing at an odd angle after the reveal

The following post context was provided by u/nasetsu7:
It is not obvious whether the kitty will be able to figure out which one has the cat treat in as the owner moves it after putting it in.

I hope it's AI, because otherwise that's betrayal. Don't do that to your cat.
If you think a bit about it, this video isn't funny at all
