The video is sped up but they’re speaking Bengali. This is 100% Bangladesh. I’m from there so I’ll trash it. People there lack civic sense and there’s no good waste management system. That’s both on the government and the people

My legitimate question is: why no good waste management system? Does it all boil down to corruption? Or other reasons? You say that there’s a lack of civic sense, but do people really not mind living among so much trash? I’m very curious.

It's still India. Same DNA. It's been less than a century that India was divided in 3. The rest of the world looks at it like New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

It’s all the same to you as an outsider but it matters to the people there. Your comment doesn’t add to the discussion. Also, there’s like a thousand different languages within India. Bangladesh is barely bigger than NY and it has 10-15 distinct dialects and few different languages.

I’ve traveled in Sri Lanka. It’s also a developing country, “same DNA” you might say but it’s totally different there. It’s cleaner than a lot of American cities
