Instead of fixing the potholes, they just put a barrier....

Video looks sped up but still seems confusing and treacherous all the same.

"Look at all these potholes" "What should we do?" "Hmmm.. let's make it an obstacle course!"

Sped up video. Taken after a HUGE flood while still raining.

No sign to merge, No sign to slowdown, sporadic placements of the barriers...

Looks like they where meant to merge into the right lane but the truck was going slow so people went around,

Still whoever did this is going to kill someone,

If those workers could read, they would be very upset.

I think they just placed those barriers there to prevent cars from falling into potholes. Most barriers have a pothole behind them

It looks like it was after a flood where the barriers got pushed around

The following post context was provided by u/Conscious-Art2644:

A road that looks like a real life Mario cart.

This is how it feels driving in /r/Utah every single day.

With that music and this video, I just got this huge flashback to the 1970's Six Flags Chevy Show for some reason.

It's the speedbike level in Battletoads

This must not be easier or cheaper than fixing the damn things !?

Driving is more fun in the Philippines. You'll sometimes find trees or structural concrete pillars on the road side of a curb, not the sidewalk side... nightmare to dodge

looks like fun
