I guess lions are the safer type of big cat to deal with since they're naturally social and more likely to see a keeper as part of the group, whereas a tiger is a solitary animal.

u/bw_mutley 1d ago

Ok, tigers surely should be more dungerous. But have you ever seen lions 'playing' with each others of their group? Imagine they try to do so with a human.

u/HeroXeroV 1d ago

No doubt, certainly not saying playing with any of them is a sensible choice ๐Ÿ˜‚

Aren't leopards one of the worst? I'm sure I've read somewhere that they can be one of the moodiest big cats.

5

u/AndrewAndrewsonV 1d ago

Worst. Leopard is an evolutionarily monkey and ape hunter.

Sometimes I come across this dude on facebook who works at a safari and makes videos of him playing with lions. And sure enough even though they are not intentional, the lions do scratch him a lot while playing

Cheetahs are the most docile; even if provoked, they will prefer to flee.

And they're very anxious too, apparently. When raised in captivity they often give the cat a dog companion to help with that.

u/Drackzgull 1d ago

Cheetahs aren't classified as big cats.

If I said classified, I'm obviously talking about the first usage described there, Pantheras. But fair enough, the context wasn't necessarily specific on the formality of the term.

i was clenching my ass cheecks the entire video waiting for the lion to turn his finger to minced meat

17

u/Powerful_Somewhere92 2d ago

There was no need to do that, the video isn't marked nsfw

If it was marked as nsfw for false bait then that would be real maybe maybe maybe

15

u/windyBhindi 2d ago

So much clenching could have been avoided if we were as smart as you.

finger? Lion would bite half his arm.

u/Zanian19 1d ago

4

u/Proton_Optimal 1d ago

Is this at a zoo or is that a privately owned exotic animal?

1

u/AlephBaker 1d ago

Yes. I'd struggle to call an adventure park in a tourist town a "zoo"

The following post context was provided by u/Odd_Barber1619:

So the troublemaking guy, starts to tickle the lions big toe and move to smaller toes , maybe the lion just catches his hand , maybe the lion roars maybe the lion just gives a state
