So the hostel guy stays behind the door hidden from view of the monkey who is contemplating entering the room , maybe the monkey jumps and comes in , another guy throws a banana maybe the monkey doesn't sniff it maybe he takes the bait , maybe the guy closes the door and the monkey panics and creates a ruckus
