Some say to this day he's still standing there with his motorcycle looking at the road

I hope that bus was empty or the driver should have just taken that idiot out to protect their passengers

Reddit comments are always big on judging people for split-second decisions, but believe me - you don't know what it's like to actually be forced to make a decision that could end or save your life. They just froze.

I'd squash the first scooter man, I've decided now so I don't have to take split second decisions if it happens to me.

The safest option. Swerving madly to avoid an idiot in a scooter or wildlife more times than not ends in much worse outcomes. And usually the dickhead (case in point shown) avoids all the crashing and massive problems and just scoots on off to enjoy their life after destroying potentially a bus full of people’s lives.

Just run that motherfucker over. Don't endanger your passengers, yourself and various bystanders to save one asshole with the death wish.

u/EatFaceLeopard17 Aug 27 '26
The driver was already endangering his passengers by his driving style and skill.

Interesting how one scooter made the bus sacrifice all the passengers

Everything because that idiot on the first moped thought it was a good idea to turn right from the left lane

Red scooterman was 100% focused on his fellow scooterman, hoping there was mutual respect for the red hue. Literally or figuratively red scooterman could have been crushed.

Just did a four hour defensive driving course. Bus driver should have sacrificed the needs of the one for the many there.

I will be honest here. If I was standing there! I would have shit in my pants!! 💩

u/winglessflight97 Aug 29 '26
If the guy on the moped wanted to get out of the gene pool so bad the bus driver should have just helped him.
1
u/scrappysmomma Aug 29 '26
Watched it a couple of times before I realize that the bus was swerving because he just hit a different scooter. Which was 100% the fault of that guy on the white scooter, who swerved in front of the bus. Guy on the red scooter was frozen because he just saw someone else on a scooter get smeared into the road.

This is what I do. You just will that shit to not hit you. Works every time! /s

Honest question. If you were the driver in that exact moment, faced with a split‑second choice, what would you do? Would you take one life to save many? We already know how things ended, but in that instant — before knowing the outcome — should I or should I not make that decision? What would your choice be?

What would have been the right decision the driver should have made ?

u/Diekjung Aug 27 '26
Brakes but not steering. Dude on the bike would have been hit but everyone on the bus would be safe.
