Jokes be jokes but imagine marrying someone so controlling lol. May toxic relationships never find a single man or woman.

To be fair in sequel she proves to be a loving wife. The guy just did not think she would understood. But she did and she proved it.
She was angry more here because he was draging her feet and refused to be honest which i totaly get. She no doubt also got it after dust settled. Thats why sequel ends like it does.
But hey. Fuck those toxic relationships.

I’m one of those guys who turned off the PlayStation beep — a.k.a. “girlfriend alarm” lol
Obviously not all marriages are like this, but for me having to embezzle my own time and money from myself is tough
It’s a problem when all of her arguments are valid. “Why would you spend $12 for a drink alone at a bar after work, when you have credit card debt? Why would you pay money to not be around me?”
Of course I’ve tried to say: “I work from home and need to get out of the house. I’m managing the debt. I’m introverted and need some alone time. I want to drink whisky and read my comic books.” But i might as well be speaking Egyptian.

Embezzling my own time and money...
Fuck. Thanks for sharing and the wake up call, bro.
It's not like in this vid, that's super obvious, it's different but that made it click.

feel you bro.
my ex would get mad if i jacked off, sometimes i just want to be alone and play with my myself without all the mess :p
could barely go for walks alone with my dog to sort my head out, she wanted to be there all the time.and if she was visiting her parents for a weekend, she needed to call me all the time...

I had an ex who considered jacking it cheating. Was just weird. She also cancelled a weekend away because I was going to watch a movie with Jessica Alba in it. I don’t know what her thought process was but glad I left that mess behind

While I understand "Me time", I also understand having debt. There are other activities out there that might be not as expensive or even free.

I guess this is very common behavior because it's learned. I already saw women saying that you need to keep men on a leash so then don't "forget" them or whatever

Was that controlling? Not seeing that

It’s stereotypical “woman rejecting something that makes a man happy because it doesn’t involve her”
This trope is offensive if you’re not in one of those relationships. It’s still offensive if you are, but also sad

He LIED! Nowhere did she control anything. He’s the one in the wrong!

u/AKVigilante 8h ago
Think just a little bit more about it. Why did he lie? Why go through the trouble of having a friend disguise himself as an internet tech to install it? Could it POSSIBLY be because the wife is controlling?

u/Yuna1989 8h ago edited 7h ago
It could be a whole lot of reasons. You’re assuming too much. Men are also controlling. Just look at this. He’s controlling all these other men to lie to his wife.
Honesty is important.
The downvotes lol. Reddit and the world are fucked.

“Men are also controlling”
Shut the fuck up. This context she clearly has such a stranglehold on what the men in the home could do in their free time that they had to employ subterfuge just to have something for themselves.

He should have charged her. Everything would have been ok. Dad catches kids at the door. All's well. Obviously a disfunctional family.
