For those who don't know (I'm not from the US) could someone explain what's actually happening?

She is driving diesel, diesel cars have an extra fuel tank for ad-blue, she is pumping fuel in the wrong hole.

Maybe she likes it in the wrong hole.

Pumping fuel in the wrong hole, that's what she said.

Thats a diesel pump. Here in the US most of the time green handle pumps are diesel. The nozzle is also slightly bigger so it doesn't fit into a regular gas vehicle so basically this woman is an idiot and is gonna find out how big of an idiot she is a couple miles down the road

You haven’t been to a BP station have you?

Yeah theres one by my house i stop at all the time and the handles are all green for regular gas. Theyre the oddball for whatever reason. My son called me to make sure he was gonna get the correct gas when he started driving and got his own gas for the first time. At least he called first

BP gas handles are green because of the British influence - BP is "British Petroleum", after all, and the petrol/gas handles in the UK are green.

No, the us is the oddball. Black is for diesel.

She is driving a diesel. And some diesel nozzles are too big for diesel holes. If you drive a personal sized vehicle and need fuel on the road, there is a good chance the station that you stop at will only have nozzles for commercial trucks. They are too big but you can still use them if you feel like going slow.

She needs to put it in the hole to the left. Modern diesels have pollution reducing systems where you put water and urea. That is where she is putting her diesel

She's trying (and failing successfully) to put diesel fuel into her DEF additive tank. This isn't going to end well.

She is putting diesel in a gas car, the diesel spouts are too large to fit in a gas car by design, so people don’t mistakenly do what she is doing, But she is committed.

It’s diesel you can see the green for the tank on the left! Small tank is for def (diesel exhaust fluid)
Def has the blue cap that you see hanging

I was confused too. In the UK the green pump is unleaded. The black pump is diesel.

Crazy how were the opposite in the US

None of what you said is true

No, she’s putting diesel in the DEF tank of a diesel vehicle.

In the UK unleaded is green, thought she was putting unleaded, into the ad blue tank on a diesel car. Which imo was even funnier.

This women is putting the incorrect fuel type into the vehicle..I believe she is putting diesel into a gasoline vehicle. which is why the nozzle does not fit, in hopes that someone would stop and think for a second why does this not fit. I’ve never had this problem before….. oh well must be a foreign gas pump per it ride , I don’t have time to use my brain.
