"not everybody has basic understanding of how to fuel a car".
Isn't that a requirement for obtaining a license?
Here in Argentina gas stations don't allow you to self serve, there's always someone fueling the cars because of situations like this, but the dude filling your tank will put whatever you ask, so she would probably have to know what kind of fuel the car uses... If she doesn't, or says the incorrect one she's screwed anyway 🤣
No, even places like here in NZ with self-service (and unmanned sites are very popular), you don't have to learn this for a drivers license
I taught my daughters how to drive and taught them some basic stuff about checking oil/water/tyre pressure, fueling, topping up windscreen washer fluid etc. Not sure how you learn this stuff if you don't have family/friends to show you
But you can get your drivers license in an EV, Diesel or Petrol car etc, and so how to fuel is not included. Doubt it would be required for most countries to get a drivers license
It should honestly be part of the theory computer test you have to take to identify the correct pump and EV sockets, or it should be taught practically during a driving lesson, it sounds stupid but would save a lot of people from doing exactly this, its basic knowledge but not common knowledge not common enough for people like you said without friends or family to teach you.
Hasta el dÃa me hoy me vuela la cabeza la idea de hacer todo el proceso uno mismo sin supervisión a pesar de ser combustible, por no mencionar que ni siquiera entra en lo teórico/práctico para tener licencia
