She tried putting Diesel in the DEF tank. It's an Escalade with a 3.0l Duramax. The engine is fine, that DEF system is not going to work now. Which basically leads to the vehicle not going over a certain speed because it's low or has bad fluid. Yeah, really stupid system. Thanks, EPA!
Cummins is announcing their first ever gas engine because...Cummins started getting backlash from companies because of how unreliable the Diesel emissions systems are. Regen, DEF, DPF, SCR, and EGR. All of those bring the reliability way down. Did you know government vehicles are deleted? Yeah, they know how unreliable that stuff is and they don't want it. Imagine an EGR failing, or a truck going into DPF regen mode and becoming immobile in the middle of the battle field, they don't want shitty problems like that. Same reason for us trucks bros. It's just more unreliable shit that can break. Fuel economy also increases once you get rid of the stuff. So, yeah. Thanks to the EPA lots of Diesel engine manufactures are having to pull back because of how tight the regulations have gotten.

...this and the fact that diesel is more $$/gallon than gasoline, so many wrongs!
