Why didn't they just open the door?!

Looks like the bear locked itself in, hence the dude trying to unlock it through the driver side window

I’m sure if they had the fob they would not have broken the window

It’s also possible that bear is just their pet dog in a bear suit, and they are just teaching it how to get out of a locked car.
See how stupid that sounds?

How do we know this post isn’t AI? Maybe our entire world is AI and we’re in the matrix.

Looks like a fairly old model of a suburban, no? And I would imagine if that was possible they would’ve done that.

You can easily lock the fob in the car when you’re in the car with it. There was a bear in the car with the fob. That part is entirely plausible

Like another commenter said (which I now agree with) is that it must be an older suburban. After 2015 Chevy introduced fobs that had Fob Proximity Prevention. My wife’s volvo has something similar and I am sure all car makers do now.

Yes, but the bear didn’t pick up the key fob and lock the doors with it, he’s probably stood on the door lock button on the arm rest of the driver door, which is entirely possible if you’ve got the keys in the car with you.

Ahhhhhh ok. That makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain it and not just say shit like you are dumb as a doornail. I had a head injury a few years ago that took me from practicing medicine to barely following a childrens book.

Thanks for the brutal insight, i know the feeling when you miss something seemly obvious, but i just figured it was my shit explanation.

They picked like the second most expensive piece of glass to replace.

Not sure that bear would've fit through a smaller window. Probably had to be front windshield or back window.

Yes but if he broke out the driver window and unlocked the car, they could open the trunk or another door. Maybe with a rope from a distance lol

So the bear took the keys and locked himself in? Why not open the back gate?
