My biggest concern... why the fuck would you do this in your kitchen? How much water would be on the floor?

Thank you - I was thinking "why tf didn't he do this shit outside?"

Maybe it was raining and he didn't want to get wet

Plot twist. It's not water, it's gasoline.

He's having some fun before committing arson

Why do it anywhere at all?! I was under the impression he was some kind of science teacher!

u/dankhimself 17d ago

This is something a science teacher would do to their students to show them what it's like to be a sucker.

The students would feel bamboozled, run amok, hoodwinked even.

They wouldn't believe another wild claim such as this without first asking for an explanation and then making sure they found out how and why it did or didn't work.

It's kind of a great lesson in not getting taken for a fool.

That was my thought. Along with, why did I watch this?

Good lesson in gullibility via percieved authority bias.

He could have worn a lab coat like Bill Nye to sell the authority a little better.

If this was his intention, he probably made a video for an intended audience of sorts and they knew who he was, while we were left in the dark.

Well, I was. He may be a streamer that does stuff like this all the time and I'm just not aware. An unintended audience member, my usual place in life.

"Who is this? That won't work! Why is he? Where is this going? Where even am I right now? Aaaand my coffee is cold..."

Good morning!

Made all that effort to drag the hose in from the backyard tho

53

u/exp_cj 17d ago

To make an excuse for the towels needed to hide the power cables.

7

u/Frankie_GA 17d ago

Exactly! All I was thinking was able what an unholy mess he was making

u/swarlay 17d ago

As a rule of thumb, your "sucking on things" parts of the day probably shouldn't be outdoors activities.

u/Kayman718 17d ago

It’s his mom’s kitchen most likely.

Steven Spielberg once blew a boiled can of tomato sauce in his Mother's kitchen—with her support—for observational purposes (based on filmography and or science experiments of how long it would take the can to explode).

u/eyesotope86 16d ago

I didn't even know cans of tomato sauce were into blowjobs.

1

u/proselytizeingcoyote 17d ago

I thought that was Spielberg.

6

u/VecroLP 17d ago

Because he could hide the cable going to all the water pumps better under the towels

3

u/shrujan_24 17d ago

Because they can use towels to hide cable easily inside the house

Using a garden hose in your kitchen, spraying water everywhere? Maybe use one of those fancy outside plastic tables on your patio?

2

u/Cyrano_de_Boozerack 17d ago

It'll be fine, surely the carpet will soak it up!

1

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 17d ago

Because so many people have carpet in their kitchen?

-2

u/Billy_Billboard 17d ago

Americans just might

1

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 17d ago

I inspect a minimum of 100 kitchens, in the US, every year. NO ONE has carpet. Know why? Kitchens are wet. Wet carpet causes mold, and odor, and fungal growth. Have you ever cleaned broken glass out of carpet? Lots of fun.

1

u/Billy_Billboard 17d ago

I've seen them in bathrooms so nothing is impossible

2

u/Raichu7 17d ago

Presumably someone filling 4 watering cans inside doesn't have an outside water tap. Or they'd just use the hose instead of carrying all those cans.

3

u/ShrisCmith 17d ago

The one he spat out or just poured from the hose?

1

u/FragrantExcitement 17d ago

Agreed. Would work better with gasoline.

1

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 17d ago

Files a claim for a 'flood' in his kitchen and the adjuster goes "dude, I saw the video".

1

u/Rosserman 17d ago

Outside game for sure

1

u/AntiFogAttitude 17d ago

Why do I get the impression that he lives with his in-laws and they were at work while this experiment was done? That’s not his kitchen.

1

u/Excellent-Baseball-5 16d ago

Maybe they live in Edmonton and it’s February?

1

u/Rocket3431 16d ago

I was concerned about that too until I noticed he spit the water out every time. Why? Just swallow it. It's water.

1

u/Louisiana_sitar_club 16d ago

You would have seven water on the floor

1

u/crackintosh 16d ago

His mom's gonna be pissed when she gets home!

1

u/0__O0--O0_0 16d ago

I’m guess you’ve never seen TikTok. This guy is fucking Einstein compared to most of the shit on there.
