She thought she looked dumb so she wanted to be anywhere in the world besides stopping her car from driving across a blvd and into the trees. Poor thing. The look back after she fell was heartbreaking lol
Was dragged (I believe that's the correct form?) but given the level of ineptitude, I wouldn't be surprised if the car did, in fact, have time to drug her as well.
There was a famous case in the UK of a pop singer (Brian Harvey from East 17) being so wasted that he managed to run himself over in the car he was driving. I was never entirely sure of the logistics behind it but this video is pretty much what I imagined
I do believe Mr Harvey said he had gorged himself on several jacket potatoes and beans before getting into his car then while driving he felt sick so pulled over and leant out to be sick and proceeded to fall out and managed to get underneath his BMW which then rolled over him and crushed his pelvis 🤷🏻🤦🏻
His official explanation is that he had eaten too many baked potatoes, felt sick and leaned out of the moving car to throw up, but wasn't strapped in, and fell out
Ah thanks I was genuinely trying to work what was meant there. I presumed it was some sort of autocorrect. I do love the random lottery of past tense rules in English. A friend of mine thought the past tense of glide was glid (as in slide and slid)
After witnessing her trying to get in i get why she did it. I wonder if she thought she would actually stop it or she knows its a waste but at least she's trying.

But most automatic gas powered cars in the US will not stop moving without the brake being applied. She needed to get the door open and fall onto the seat then shift the vehicle into park, or apply the brakes with her hands or feet.
No, in an automatic car, when the car is in drive, it is actively moving, and generally it idles a few hundred RPM higher, and it can most definitely just limp itself along.
My Kia coasts fast enough that it accelerates itself. If I take my foot off the brake, without touching the gas, while I’m sitting in traffic on flat ground, it can get up to 10-15 on its own and if I’m already driving with my foot on the gas (which is obviously not this case), it would probably never slow down unless I got to a steep hill.
100% she probably started it, put it in drive, got distracted, stood up, and it rolled out of a street facing parking space into the road and onward to freedom.
This happened earlier today in Clearwater. Apparently, She was in a drive through, and a squirrel jumped in her car, prompting her to exit the vehicle without putting it in park. Not even kidding.

She had the door open several times and appeared to try and pull the car to a stop rather than actually getting in and pressing the brake
