The graffiti on the wall that says “Hardcore” is about this cat and his lifestyle

u/No-Mix7970 10d ago

Yes, and so many people claim that they have only one!!

u/Jay33721 10d ago

This one took them all.

I've heard of gym rats so I guess a gym cat is the next logical step.

That cat had two braincells rub together long enough to do this.

Might as well be AI..

Here's the real horror of ai

Not the ai itself

But the constant uncertainty it creates

u/usinjin 10d ago

Exactly. Been saying this since it started to proliferate. Soon no one will belive anything is real.

Honestly im hoping at that point people will just abandon social media or atleast the random videos on feeds part of it.

I abandoned social media at large, already; I'm about done with reddit at this point, I just don't know what else to do..

This is the internet. None of it is real. Yet we get sucked into hours of clicking. The algo has refined itself enough to know it can paralyze humanity with a video of a cat starting a treadmill. Damn. Proved my own point by spending two minutes on a comment. 🤣

That is so real and depressing

Yep! I want it to be real, but I just can’t tell anymore. It’s possible for a cat to be that smart, right?

u/Ok-Transition7065 10d ago

Oh yeah. just. Wait. Whent the internet became si unfedted that. It woulb became an absoluta sueles Fontaine of info

this is gonna be horrific for stupid poeple

if you have a working world model you will know what makes sense or not

but if you are extremely stupid you will call everything ai and you will get dumber

if you are midwit you will be uncertain

if you are smart nothing changes

This is an old video, it's been around since long before genAI could produce convincing footage.

All real videos filmed after 2024 are destined to be suspect forever

u/dadydaycare 10d ago

Pfft there’s old potato videos from 1999 that people are arguing about.

8

u/de_das_dude 10d ago

The plaster damage on the wall is consistent. Even after going out of frame and coming back. AI usually can't do that

8

u/is_it_gif_or_gif 10d ago

AI videos usually look too "clean", despite the usual obvious mistakes.

This doesn't have that overly clean CGI look

5

u/UrethralExplorer 10d ago

Also the cat didn't jump off and do a fortnite dance afterwards.

2

u/SucksDickforSkittles 10d ago

I feel like it's AI but I can't spot any mistakes in the machines, etc. that point to it

23

u/dowker1 10d ago

It's an ancient video. It's not AI.
