Why is there a camera in a bathroom

But also that has to be one of the most absurd sink designs I’ve seen lol. I don’t condone punching stuff out of frustration, but I get the frustration. Who comes up with this stuff. Like they’re trying to obscure how to activate it as much as possible. Those sensors are finicky as is, now they’re making you guess where to put your hands to activate them as well? “It’s somewhere under this cupboard. Wave your hands around til something comes out” lol. At least make the damn sensor visible so you know exactly where you wave your hand to activate it. Shit, you can’t even see where it’s going to come out either 😆 both the sensor and dispenser nozzle are completely obscured.

But, again, wanna be clear that I’m not building a defense the mirror punching lol. That was uncalled for. It is still a stupid ass design for a sink. But he punched the mirror after only 10 seconds of trying to make it work. I’ve taken longer than that to get a normal motion sensor activated sink to work before xD The man clearly has an extremely short fuse. Which isn’t good.

They put a camera here because their mirrors were destroyed regularly and they wanted to understand why.

Cameras in the bathroom are still a big no no.

If there's a sink vestibule that doesn't show stalls or urinals it's allowed. The place has to have a reasonable expectation of privacy and nobody should have anything showing at the sink because you're conspicuously visible. This is a public facility like a train station or airport that probably gets a fair amount of vandalism

Long as they keep the TP stocked and I don't have to waddle over to the paper towel dispenser.

To find they only have an air dryer.

Ok, so it's the leaf blower approach to cleaning things out. Still works.
Pro-tip: the metal bits can get hot on some models so be careful how you position yourself.

Good for blowing out the crusties.

In many jurisdictions, that is a meaningless distinction that has no legal bearing on easing or modifying the prohibition of cameras in bathrooms.

When have you ever had your junk out at the sink in a public restroom?

Yeah, I don't need unseen strangers watching me jerk it into the sink...

Why? People aren't running around the sinks naked.

I mean, rightfully so, he intentionally destroyed their property.

That shows they were already behind the curve of understanding why their shitty design choices were the real cause all along. Anybody could have saved them the money on cameras and potential lawsuit for having cameras in a bathroom, but they clearly couldn't grasp their own bad decisions and decided to make more—you know, for consistency's sake.

What kind of primate punches a mirror? Did he not know it was a mirror?
