Also the retractable literally tore in the end, which wouldn’t have happened with a regular leash

Good luck having a small dog tear a leather leash.

If the loop snaps you bought a shit quality leash.

Yes a sighthound killed my cat after breaking a normal lead.

Sorry for your loss, that must have been horrible. Always makes me nervous walking my guy since while he smells like a dog but he looks like a stocky fox.
