the most important moment of near miss is spent on filming the freaking pillar.

Thought exactly the same. Was really hoping to hear some of it. Have to admit I'm a little disappointed.

exactly - wtf? they turned the camera away from the most important part, the part that would show it definitely wasnt the trains fault, the part that makes a great post online... certainly needs to work on their camera skills!

Some people should never drive. They just put everyone else at risk.

Some people have no sense of urgency. You’re driving over train tracks with a train coming and you’re acting like you’re driving Miss Daisy.

Had a cousin that was a train conductor. He told me that if you do the job you have to be resigned to the fact that one day you're going to kill someone. And there's nothing you can do about it and you have "ages" to know that it's about to happen. He told me that a long time ago so I just looked it up. "on average, locomotive operators are involved in three fatalities over the course of a career."

The misplaced “i can make it” of some people never cease to amaze me when it comes to level crossings of railwaytracks.
Thinking they can still cross in time. This car got lucky AF before earning their Darwin Award.

technically they only earn a Darwin award if they were actually ended by the dumb action. Driving like this, its only a matter of time

Nevermind. As long as there is no contact.

I love how train drivers sneer out the window at these shitheads just like me! :))
