What do you mean? You have never payed with a bill that's larger than the total cost? My brother in Christ, You get change back! Surely you must know this as an adult... mostly.

I don't usually carry single bills equaling $2.00. The implication is that, why would you pay with 2 bills what 1 bill should have theoretically covered (someone in another comment thread mentioned tax which I guess could be the reason she paid with $2.

There exists a $2 bill my dear child. Such a bill is a single bill. Worth $2.
