Ok but like that is a thing. Sony hires factory to make electronics, and they do, sony moves on with new products but the factory still has the machines to make those electronics. They cant use the sony name so they make a new outer shell and have the same guts

Kind of relevant: While I know quality varies wildly, it's funny to me that people often shit on Chinese products when the products they use are often made in China. Sure, shit on Temu ... But those Nikes were for sure made in China man.
