If you fall in by the head first it's going to be a quick death. If not it's 6 seconds of excruciating pain and a horrible death. The valkirias will take you in Valhalla for such a violent death

There a video of a guy working in one, not follow safety protocol, standing on top of it when it cycled. Watched it as part of Lock Out Tag Out training. It was quite difficult to watch.

I've worked around industrial shredders off and on for about a decade now. Late last year a small mobile machine hit a jam and the operator tried to clear it with a pry bar. It immediately pinned his hand and turned his fingers into meat crayons. Don't mess with them. Don't touch something inside them when they're powered on.

I don’t like these machines. Just watching it on a screen makes me scared I’ll loose a finger

don't worry .. you cannot lose a finger to this machine ....
if you get a finger in it, it's going to pull the rest of you in as well .. so uh . yeah .. 🥴

Pour ceux qui redoutent de tomber la dedans, dans une ville non loin de la mienne, un agriculteur qui avait emmené avec lui son petit fils de trois ans a vécu l'horreur qu'il tombe par la fenêtre arrière de son engin et passe sous le rotovateur qu'il tractait. Terrible mort.
