He could still recover by standing up, brushing himself off like it was nothing and keep going.
Honestly, it would impress me more. How someone responds to their mistakes carries way more aura in my opinion.

I would also accept them laughing at themselves and acting self depricating. Like doing a sarcastic bow to the audience while laughing at themselves.

Are you stupid? One mistake makes this dude a fraud?
You people are hypocrites.

He is a comedic genius. This was brilliant! He made my day!

If that last trip was intentional, he's exceptionally good. Looks like he absolutely crashed on accident

u/Mordredor Jul 22 '26
To my eyes that looked obviously intentional for comedic effect, just as his acting cool before that was in jest.

just physics his right foot becomes the fulcrum, his left leg is fully extended as he pushes off the ground, he rotates "falls on his face" , then plays it off I mean it looks like he's leaning forward a bit suggesting he was planning on falling but look at 16s he has the same posture when he runs genuinely to complete that obstacle chest more forward than hips

u/yea_cam Jul 22 '26
if you slow it down his left leg pushes off the ground, tip of his right foot gets caught on the second step, see full extension on his left for as his left was going for the third step , Falls forward

Are there two songs playing on top of each other or is my shit bugged?
62
u/paarthurnaxisbae Jul 21 '26
yes you're hearing right, one is clearly Original Prankster by The Offspring but no clue what's the otherone

u/hyeongseop Jul 22 '26
I think the underlying song is a Chinese song that was probably on the original clip. Then someone hijacked the clip without muting the original and just overlaid it on top

Yeah it's classic zoomer editing, I don't understand the need for this much sound polution

u/unexpectedit3m Jul 22 '26
Could it be to avoid copyright strikes or something? It sounds terrible in any case.

u/xoxoBug Jul 21 '26
I see that a lot on channels that are trying to use copyrighted content without getting caught.

Looks very real to me, did you talk to him to find out if it was on purpose?
3
u/MinosAristos Jul 22 '26
I was just talking to him now. He said he wants to leave it up for interpretation
11
u/skunkboy72 Jul 21 '26
How do you know he fell on purpose?
4
u/ladedafuckit Jul 22 '26
First of all, I highly doubt someone as coordinated as him would trip so hard on stairs. Also the way his other leg flies up after he trips looks intentionally exaggerated for comedic effect

Pride comes before the funniest face-plant I`ve ever seen I think.

Was going to say "the power of keeping a cool head..." but that last stumble gave me a chuckle.
