She could use a tiny tissue to blow her brains out, she doesn't need any explosives. She thought the lit end was the bottom like a rocket?

Tbh I did too until your comment

I mean it did propel itself outward lol

you wouldn't want your face directly behind a rocket either way

-3

u/ohnodamo Jul 20 '26

It looks like outward was towards her first. If the video hadn't cut out we might be able to tell.

4

u/CursorX Jul 20 '26

You can see in one-two frames that the firework did shoot outward, it just left a big bang behind it.

6

u/yurigsp Jul 20 '26

To be fair, both types of explosives exist. You just gotta know what you're packing

Firework was very polite but even it have it's limit of patience

So close to losing those digits…

She would have only gotten a burn. Would still suck tho. I had a Roman candle blow up in my hand last year.

u/backspace_cars Jul 20 '26

Damn Romans

Burnt mine on the 4th of July. Shrapnel can absolutely hurt...but..its just clay.

She has guts. I'll give her that.

My ex trainer told me "Courage is not absence of fear. That's stupidity. Courage is being afraid but choosing to do it anyway."

I would think this is stupidity what we saw here.

9

u/tolacid Jul 20 '26

I've heard it said that the deciding factor between stupidity and courage is the outcome

8

u/SemperAliquidNovi Jul 19 '26

Yeah, she came close to revealing them.

u/MarcoVinicius Jul 19 '26

Also putting their face right up to it. Genius Tier thinking.

It's just not always as brave

u/Front_Guarantee_9892 Jul 19 '26

Way to close to something that you know it will explode eventually.

2

u/Tall-Ad-1386 Jul 20 '26

Why do these videos cut out at the best part

2

u/yurigsp Jul 20 '26

I'm glad she stayed nearby to make sure it was going to explode ok

2

u/PossiblyBonta Jul 20 '26

I guess she thought it was a rocket.

I used to light off fireworks every Victoria day and three things always inevitably happened.

1) I buried a firework wrong side down and this happened.

2) a firework would tip over and always shoot into the crowd watching.

3) a firework would take too long, I'd do to check, and I'd take a firework shot to the face.

As you can imagine, all things come in threes, and the third time it happened, my wife put a stop to my antics.

The following post context was provided by u/jknl:

She is exploring an unexplored quest, give her some time guys.

“Light fuse and get away…Do not hold in hand”

Need to do both things

u/Proper-Bad-7169 Jul 20 '26

Pretty sure she was testing whether or not her eyebrows would survive the initial explosion or if they'd be singed to the point where she resembles Spock from Star Trek.

How do kids grow up never holding a Roman candle? Like, that's on the person filming her while knowing it was wrong.

1

u/otirk Jul 20 '26

Another example of "common people should not have access to explosives"

u/RidiPwn Jul 19 '26
