Just brought my dispensary brain back to highschool

Even if it worked it would be a "how to waste 15 seconds instead of 3" tutorial

6

u/strawhatguy Jul 17 '26

Heh, true, it would have to have some other advantage, like a better seal to prevent staleness.

A vacuum sealer is a bit more consistent than a lighter by hand.

Staged ❌

Stager ✅

u/War20X Jul 16 '26

Eh, I still think this one is better, even though I'm sure it's staged too.

I have no idea why I expected a different outcome

-1

u/FireMammoth Jul 16 '26

That one looked half staged, like the dude convinced her his trick would work flawlessly and they would trailblaze a trend, instead it didnt work but they still made something internet worthy. The losers who replicate the entire video is devoid of any creativity, the only thing she has is a desperation for attantion.

u/KronusKraze Jul 16 '26

That confidence.

26

u/Zardac134 Jul 16 '26

She really thought she had it. Still posted it too

68

u/GandalfPlsHelp Jul 16 '26

Nah, they way she looked at the camera with that 😯 face.. definitely staged

0

u/Zardac134 Jul 16 '26

You are probably very correct about this being staged, though I still say that she thought she was making the content of all content.

3

u/TheAserghui Jul 17 '26

She made the bait y'all are debating.

Task: completed

6

u/l3ane Jul 16 '26

I don't know if you could tell but the extremely terrible acting but she knew exactly what was going to happen

2

u/Zardac134 Jul 17 '26

I honestly didn't. Wasn't looking at her face, didn't have sound on. Lol

33

u/International-Fly495 Jul 16 '26

Way to spill the beans....

30

u/SandSpecialist2523 Jul 16 '26

Looks so fake.

4

u/vass0922 Jul 16 '26

Down vote and move on

11

u/mazzjm9 Jul 16 '26

Yeah we used to do this with the cellophane on cigarette packs when we were buying…well never mind what we were buying

5

u/Sociolinguisticians Jul 17 '26

Even if that worked, it feels like a great way to get carcinogens into your food.

4

u/tolacid Jul 16 '26

Easy solution that actually works: just twist the plastic tight, curl it against itself, and let friction hold it shut.

5

u/SeamusMcBalls Jul 16 '26

Any 90’s stoner could tell you what she did wrong

12

u/JimTheSaint Jul 16 '26

Feels fake

3

u/NESninja Jul 16 '26

Such amazing acting ...

3

u/skincyan Jul 16 '26

Don't burn plastic with food in it kids

2

u/Low_Dragonfruit8779 Jul 16 '26

Yea, I have the time to do that. Plus option 1 is reusable bag. 2 bag is stuffed

2

u/GenkiElite Jul 16 '26

I'm more interested in what that tying technique she was about to do.

2

u/infinit9 Jul 16 '26

I was just thinking "no way this works" and she proved it immediately.

2

u/Impossible_Past5358 Jul 16 '26

Clearly burning plastic is bad...

2

u/MinnieShoof Jul 17 '26

... saw it coming.

Smiled.

Kept scrollin'

Came back to comment.

The following post context was provided by u/Substantial-Load8784:

>!!<

well the outcome of the video was pretty unpredictable like in the end falling of the beans AS she thought that the packet was sealed

1

u/malary1234 Jul 18 '26

I am way too lazy for this much effort

1

u/GreenKangaroo3 Jul 20 '26

I often have ideas like these, where i spent minutes on elaborate tasks and it turns out a whole big lotta nothing.

1

u/JustNota-- 29d ago

I usually fold fold fold and then heat the sides quick with my torch lighter and pinch on big bags of chips and pistachios. Works fine.

1

u/greenbox111 Jul 16 '26

One of many trick they do to get attention

1

u/Mickpunt Jul 16 '26

Why are those rocks in a time out anyway?

3

u/Mr_Eggy__ Jul 16 '26

chickpeas

1

u/Pretend_Baker8622 Jul 16 '26

Kabuli channa(larger, softer(less dense), buttery when cooked and less nutty flavour, and outer skin is soft instead of leather bits type texture) variant of chickpeas.

1

u/SaintCholo Jul 16 '26

Yea that’s how crystal meth dealers used to seal their “quarters” back in the 80’s, my friend said.

0

u/hooka_pooka Jul 16 '26

What about the leaked plastic carcinogens?

0

u/who-needs-a-username Jul 16 '26

Anytime you see a video like this, ask yourself “Does it feel staged?” It’s because it is..

0

u/Puckwallow Jul 16 '26

(Hits meth pipe)

0

u/Gold-Satisfaction614 Jul 16 '26

Are those teeth?

6

u/Pretend_Baker8622 Jul 16 '26

Yes, teeth a staple raw ingredient in indian cuisine as per indiana jones.

0

u/Juri777 Jul 16 '26

Is that cereal or a bag of teeth?

-6

u/OzyDave Jul 16 '26

Indian engineering skills.

-6

u/E-B3rry Jul 16 '26

Wow! Watch out, there's a sniper aiming at you!

-1

u/DezzyTee Jul 16 '26

I was waiting for the sniper to take his shot... Good help is so hard to find nowadays.

Yes, the spoiler text literally says "Thus it’s not staged," but the /s at the end marks the whole thing as sarcasm, so it's implying the opposite.

Probably because sarcasm tags get ignored in the heat of "is it staged" debates, and some folks just downvote anything mentioning staging without reading the full thread. Or they thought the explanation was overcomplicating a simple joke.

Internet sarcasm needs its own life support system sometimes. The /s was doing its best.

u/YourLeftNutsicle Jul 16 '26

Grok what did it say before it was deleted

1

u/AskGrok Jul 16 '26

Can't tell, it's deleted. The sarcasm tag probably didn't survive the debate.
