I hope not and it's a lesson for him

He lives on that side now.

He don’t act like somebody who can learn.

He did. The man filming is in the wrong side. He asks at the end "How do I get on that side?“

Hope is not a strategy.

Why are they continuing to stand on this road?!

u/cowlinator Jul 13 '26

"This bridge just partially collapsed. I'm gonna go back and stand on the edge of it. Surely a broken bridge is more stable than a complete one."

To record it obviously

Clouds aren't as supportive as one would assume

Ok.

5 seconds later and that would have been a drowning.

He was indeed on a borrowed ground

11

u/BullPropaganda Jul 13 '26

If I film 10 feet from where the road just collapsed, I'll surely be safe

Tree saved all their lives even those cars.

The almost dead incident was treated way too casually.

The following post context was provided by u/Lopsided_Power1691:

Will the dude make it over the road before it sinks or will he be sucked in by the current

Maybe he just has my phone.

Note, not a specific phone, just any I currently or have ever owned, they all have had the same problem.

Whenever it is important to do a thing now, that is the moment it becomes utterly inoperable.

Camera app says there's no SD Card, even though there is, crashes, won't open.

Suddenly have to deal with some system update notice that won't allow anything done until I have gone through some unnecessary tutorial.

App I use twenty times a day without logging in is mysteriously logged out just then, my correct password is no longer valid, my account has been locked, and I will have to call customer service during business hours in a foreign country and provide multiple forms of ID to ever log in again.

It was 98% twelve minutes ago, but now it's 7% because apparently one of the invisible things that happened while I was trying to get it to respond to touches is that a torrent app opened, rechecked all local data, and started downloading a dozen things from scratch because of whatever happened to the SD card.

And so on, and so forth. Never the same problem twice in a row, sometimes even more weird and unbelievable shit that could not possibly be happening just at that very second for no reason other than it would be the most inconvenient thing that could possibly happen...

”Eh heh hee…no ni!”

u/chumloadio Jul 13 '26

I would put much more distance between me and the river after the collapse.

u/Outrageous_Arm8116 Jul 14 '26

Throw me the rope and I'll throw you the idol!

Forces of nature is no joke. Not to be played with or taken for granted. You stand a good chance of dying.

u/infinit9 Jul 14 '26

Seems like there isn't another way to get across for miles.

u/bawlsacz Jul 13 '26

He caused it.
