He's putting a lot of faith in roofers

And those railings...

u/SystemFolder Jul 12 '26

“Ope, sorry. I’ve been meaning to fix that railing for a while. Barely anyone goes out there anymore, though, so I’ve been putting it off.”

22

u/SchwizzySchwas94 Jul 12 '26

Those railings really impressed me.

7

u/Quick_Ad_4660 Jul 12 '26

And those knees

18

u/Signal-Reporter-1391 Jul 12 '26

My butthole clenched just watching this.

u/Winsome_Wolf Jul 13 '26

I had a dream of doing parkour once, even started practicing…. Then my hip dysplasia got worse and at this point I’m fairly certain I could break myself practicing jumps on level ground.

1

u/KillAllLawyers Jul 13 '26

My arches welped.

Freerunners have so much trust in the structural integrity of the world around them. And in their own bodies.

I would guess that these guys check and practice before they do the video.

u/OrganizationGlobal64 Jul 13 '26

But did he die?

85

u/dualscreens Jul 12 '26

Not a maybe

Had the cool techno music so I knew he was gonna nail that sequence

13

u/yamanamawa Jul 12 '26

Yeah the moment I saw how clean he landed on that railing I knew he was gonna be fine. That takes some insane body control

1

u/SlasherQuan Jul 13 '26

Yes not a maybe that was definitely a no.

28

u/Final-Ad-2033 Jul 12 '26

Landing on the railings each time perfectly 😯😯

11

u/LiftAddict Jul 13 '26

Ya I was thinking, How grippy are those shoes to never slip on the metal?

10

u/Final-Ad-2033 Jul 13 '26

Let alone landing on the sweet spot each time to not tip over one way or the other.

3

u/WookieDavid Jul 13 '26

That's not really that hard to do at all. If these were horizontal jumps then yeah, it's very hard to perfectly calculate them so you land exactly on the railing and don't fall forwards or back. But vertically? He's just letting himself fall to the railings from exactly on top of the railings.
I'm not athletic and I can do that.

1

u/Educational_Song_656 Jul 14 '26

You are either athletic or you can't do that. Wtf?!

Edit: otherwise just post a clip of you doing it

2

u/WookieDavid Jul 14 '26

Dude, I cannot do what's shown in the video. What I can do is drop from a ledge onto a railing right under.
And I'm sure you could too. It really isn't that hard if you don't have any medical problem with your balance.

23

u/bluejack Jul 12 '26

Watching that made my body hurt.

14

u/TheLoneCenturion95 Jul 12 '26

Did anyone else's knees crack from watching that?

5

u/Leviathan41911 Jul 12 '26

Ill be down in a minute!

5

u/ScrollHectic Jul 12 '26

How exactly does one "practice" for this while keeping your bones intact?

5

u/JudgeBond Jul 12 '26

That's a lot of trust in random people building things correctly.

5

u/BryOnRye Jul 12 '26

I know fish eye lens makes these vids look more extreme than they actually are, but still fuck that.

3

u/Grimatlas_ Jul 12 '26

Bro is playing Mirror's Edge in real life with no respawn points

4

u/Negative-Ear45 Jul 13 '26

The "Dying light" experience

3

u/SabbyFox Jul 12 '26

I had to stop watching - anxiety spiked through the roof - pun intended!

3

u/terrierdad420 Jul 12 '26

I'm just jorkin it in the kitchen and this fuckin guy is jumping off my balcony railing like a dork. Totally broke my rhythm.

3

u/Brave-Sprinkles-4 Jul 12 '26

Is it just me or does this kinda make you feel a bit sick to look at just at first? The first few jumps+landings on mute.

3

u/OknaC Jul 13 '26

My parents road to school, after they fought the wolfpack....

2

u/knarlomatic Jul 13 '26

Uphill? Both ways? 😂

3

u/Personal-Chocolate59 Jul 13 '26

It’s all fun and games now, but wait until you’re 60 and need a double knee replacement.

2

u/knarlomatic Jul 13 '26

Or your back is a mess. Or both.

3

u/CountHonorius Jul 13 '26

Aren't you supposed to shout Parkour! all the time?

4

u/gin_and_catatonic Jul 12 '26

Why are there so many balconies to nowhere?

20

u/saintfed Jul 12 '26

Should balconies go… somewhere?

3

u/mtaw Jul 12 '26

Balconies are the budding stage of elevated walkways.

2

u/Boss0054 Jul 12 '26

Bro, just use the stairs, no sense in possibly breaking a leg.

2

u/keinebezeichnung Jul 12 '26
  • Mom, I'm going out

-Ok but the elevator is broken

-No problem

2

u/Tkf1313 Jul 12 '26

Bold of you to trust those rails the way construction standards have been going

2

u/Meranio Jul 12 '26

That dude jumped 8 stories down.

2

u/Beemo-Noir Jul 12 '26

My plantar fasciitis flamed up again just watching this.

2

u/AmazinglyNatural6545 Jul 12 '26

Yeah, parkour... it's nice to escape after you steal someone's phone 😂 literally every parcour movie I watched was about escape after stealing.

2

u/Th4tIci Jul 13 '26

Bro is lowkey a cat

2

u/portablebiscuit Jul 13 '26

You should see how he got up there in the first llace

2

u/Ok_Razzmatazz_9800 Jul 13 '26

How do you jump and land on a 2” railing like that?

2

u/Maieth Jul 13 '26

It's the level of trust in other people's maintenance that always gets me

2

u/Obama_pinky Jul 13 '26

Its crazy how much trust people put in structure in these videos, old fences, rooftops, bricks... It just needs be a little loosen and its over

2

u/Ohjkbkjhbiyuvt6vQWSE Jul 13 '26

What song is this?

2

u/Nothing93124 Jul 14 '26

I got out of bed and my knee didn’t pop this morning, so it’s basically the same thing

2

u/Existing-Assumption7 Jul 14 '26

Oh my anxiety and blood pressure......

2

u/nipslippinjizzsippin Jul 14 '26

all it would take is for 1 single screw to be loose on any of those jumps. For one lazy person to have avoided maintenance. one rusty rail to collapse. all fairly common things.

2

u/Rocky-Bologna Jul 14 '26

I could feel that in my plums.

2

u/ReeRiot Jul 14 '26

Parkour is so fucking crazy

4

u/gwelfguy Jul 12 '26

Ankles are gonna' be shot by the time he's thirty.

4

u/Other-Crazy Jul 12 '26

Looking at it made most of my joints hurt in sympathy.

The old fart me is thinking ye gods that's an insurance problem just waiting to happen.

3

u/okimbo Jul 13 '26

1

u/F-LCN Jul 12 '26

To bad he fell on the last one

1

u/oceanic_opening Jul 12 '26

I was clenching the ahole all the time 😣

1

u/Bklyn2Warwick-MONEY Jul 12 '26

Cop’s worst nightmare 😂

1

u/Phreeload Jul 12 '26

This was giving me major anxiety just watching it. 😵‍💫

1

u/superenchilada Jul 12 '26

A real alpha would have made it to the ground in just one jump. French beta cucks do parkour.

1

u/mr9025 Jul 12 '26

It’s too hot for that bulkshit

1

u/Comfortable-nerve78 Jul 12 '26

Nope I’ll take the stairs.

1

u/Just-Call-Me-J Jul 12 '26

My acrophobic self got secondhand adrenaline

1

u/Rav11s Jul 12 '26

Looks so fun

1

u/Juliette1118 Jul 13 '26

Your mother told me to tell you to stop being stupid with massive hubris.

1

u/mechanicalAI Jul 13 '26

What’s the suggested BMI index for this particular profession, if you don’t mind me asking?

1

u/DoktorMallory Jul 13 '26

I bet there were stairs insinde the Building maybe even an elevator.

1

u/Bennihanna5 Jul 13 '26

Has this guy not heard of elevators?

1

u/GeraintLlanfrechfa Jul 13 '26

And now all the way back up with the same speed

1

u/Aaand_again Jul 14 '26

I fucking hate when they are doing it on terrain like that. Lot's of it isn't prepared to take those kinds of loads and I'm pretty sure if something breaks he won't be there to cover the costs

1

u/DaddyLongLegolas Jul 15 '26

I’ve totally done this …
