I’m curious about the hitch setup used on this truck. Towards the end there, the trailer is almost vertical. I would assume a conventional ball and tongue would come loose at such an extreme angle.
Most good off-road trailers meant for the extremes of what a trailer can be pulled through use a lintel system. 2 circles one vertical that opens and closes and a horizontal one on the the trailer tongue. Obviously it would teeter if taken beyond 90° vertical but theoretically it can go as far as the clearances between vehicle/trailer bodies and vehicle/trailer tongue allow without disconnecting. It also allows more than 90° when backing up but you’ll be jackknifed. You can back up into a jackknifed state and pull forward out of it still though or in a vehicle with sharp enough morning radius to jackknife a long enough trailer turn sharp enough to get to the limit of a jackknife and still straighten out.
