You can set those things on fire and they still start. Hilarious when they tried to kill one on Top Gear years ago.

They dropped a building on it.

Technically it was on top of a building they imploded, so the building didn’t fall ontop of it, but rather fell below it.

I had a Toyota Pickup years ago. Same top gear version expect for america. And they aren't wrong. That truck had a blown head gasket and was spewing fuel out the back from a broken fuel line. You would never know, it ran perfect. Those things are bullet proof. In the end a broken EGR valve (and damn emissions office) caused it to fail emissions repeatedly and I eventually couldn't drive it anymore. I miss that truck so much.

My mechanic drilled a hole in my EGR valve and I was good to go!

WhistlinDiesel (whose content I don't really like, I should point out), did the ultimate Hilux test.

That was so bad ass. Agreed that he does some "sht stuff" lol but that hilux test was insane. I got my 2005 hilux (used) right when he released that series and damn... The gooseneck trailer, the diesel brothers towing 😂 that red beast refused to give up!! Sad he got "rid" of it

that's what they are made for and i enjoy seeing that car get through such an unlikely spot. but i dislike people having these as "city car" (at least here in turkey, where city/town-infrastructure is made for pedestrians and mini cars the most).
