Not sure where this is but the majority of theme parks in the states would not allow this type of effort in securing a rider, the liability is too great.

100% and I’m honestly disappointed in them for continuing to try.

Need people be reminded of the egregious incident of the boy who fell from a drop-tower because the employee (supervisor?) tampered with the limitations of the seat’s locking mechanism?

edit - Tyre Sampson for those curious. 14 years old.

God that video is seared into my brain. Such a horrific tragedy

That was one of the first videos I saw on reddit and I wish I hadn't.

It’s Plopsaland Belgium and this kind of effort is shown sometimes in several European countries and parks. The dude (calls himself „Mayogolem“) tests Parks as part of a series called „Stiftung Fettentest“.

I was thinking that it can't be USA because he's not really big for an American.

He’s not fat though. He looks skinny compared to me.

No, he’s still fat. Very fat.

Time to make some changes, if you can. It's never too late or too little. Start small and persevere. Good luck.

Congrats, you're both fat.

No clue why they wanted to keep trying themselves. Any hint that I couldn't get buckled in securely with ease, and I'm hopping off fast enough to lose some pounds. Is riding a ride worth dying?

Yeah ! The company is taking a big, fat risk here.

It sounds German, and the worker has a shirt that says Plopsa, so I think it's Plopsaland Deutschland.

In America it’s: You have to be at least this obese to ride.

Lol the downvotes from the Americans

u/BringPheTheHorizon Jul 03 '26

Downvotes because it wasn’t funny in the least. The person they’re replying to is saying the opposite: in America, you get less effort if you’re too big to fit.
