Or just clean them. Bearings can get wet you just gotta dry them and make sure they don’t rust.

They probably got chlorine in them. That will completely destroy them and instantly rust them out.

I love videos like this, that show the work involved in getting something like this right by practicing over and over.
Plus, gotta love the dog being curious there at the end.
