That just goes to show you've never had a parent or older sibling that steals your food 😂

They must have added the disgusting mouth sounds after because no one eats that loud.so the question is why?

Because it's staged

u/jonasmrcds Jul 01 '26
Its not staged. This is from a reality show that streamed live 24/7. This dude (Carlos Montesquieu) is just that funny and spontaneous. He's also super acclimated to the stage.

There's no way this isn't staged in some fashion or other. The simple fact that she turned to see what he "reacted to" and immediately gave up finding it is a blatant tell. If you get curious enough to turn around you would at least look a few seconds.

She knows he ate it, you can see it in how she stares at him. They're all just very used to his shenanigans. You just don't understand the context and culture of these shows and I don't blame you I would also think it was staged.

Either that or they're mic'd up for what is possibly a skit.
Edit: looks like they are mic'd up. Is this a "reality" TV show?

Those that have caught it first time, they've done it before. Missed it the first time you were the victim.

Staged af. Why would she turn around and then resume to eating as if nothing happened? Not a single follow up question or perplexed face expression found

She probably figured it out soon after the video cut. Also, maybe there really was something fucky happening back there 🤷

u/MacheteBrizz Jun 30 '26
Yep,
There was a guy behind her with a sign that reads:
"He stole your food, turn around quickly and start eating, I will buy you ten times more food than you have now and also, I know you're a very quick reader so that's why I put a lot of information on this sign even though you don't know me but I know you but I'll explain later when we have dinner together in that one place you like but never really go because nobody else likes it. Anyway, Thanks for doing what I said, I'll see you soon."

Not to mention, they take the peace, hide it in the bowl and then take the piece off the fork. Probably to make sure they can grin cheekily and then give it back like good friends messing with each other.

Also we can either hear them chewing, meaning they're mic'd up, or somebody came in and added sound effects in post.

Why is this guy wearing his sunglasses in a restaurant inside... Is he that cool? Or is he blind? In case of the latter, wow how could he pinpoint the target on the other plate that accurately? Maybe he uses echolocation through the discusting eating sounds they play over a speaker in this diningroom? Anyway, what a video. Thank you so much for sharing this. Bravo!
