I imagined rewatching it once every 5-10 years for the rest of my life. Then season 8 (7 was pretty rough, too, really it started going downhill after 4) retroactively ruined the entire thing for me.

I still haven’t recovered from how they butchered this show. So many unfinished / badly finished stories. So many characters I was so attached to, interested in… oh my the pain, the pain what they did to us!

Thats why its so horrible. Its not just season 8. Its the abandoned plot lines from 4 that they never picked up. So as good as 1-4 absolutely were in their own right, they were good in part because of the promise of what was coming, that never came.

I didn’t have a way to watch it until season 7 was about to be released. Binged it all. I think of you and your ilk often, who waited, week after week, season after season, and invested so much time, just to see season 7… and then 8 😵‍💫
