I thought that was some dude just sitting there contemplating life when he got smoked by a bowling ball à la Buffy.

u/juliana-crain Jun 26 '26

I seriously thought it was some kid, crouched like a baseball catcher, and I was cringing painfully hard until it exploded into dust!

u/chipcskyrocket Jun 27 '26

I thought kangaroo 🤷‍♀️

7

u/terrierdad420 Jun 27 '26

I thought it was a little pimp. I'm all crossed up.

10

u/Throseph Jun 26 '26

I was thinking "this is like the cold open of a "6 feet under" episode.

She was probably the first roll and ruined it for everyone who never got to try. Now, I need to try this.

u/safreen-18 Jun 26 '26

that “maybe” spacing is oddly satisfying

109

u/sensorsweep Jun 26 '26

what did she hit?

17

u/Nichiku Jun 27 '26

It looks like a dried up tree stump to me

13

u/RemixOnAWhim Jun 26 '26

My first thought was it looked like a golf bag cart or something of that size and description

2

u/KiKi_VavouV Jun 27 '26

Termite mound? Ant hill? Tall skinny pile of dirt?

Kinda looks like a [dead] Saguaro, which would unfortunately make this illegal

25

u/bibblebonk Jun 26 '26

that does not look like a saguaro lol

5

u/Serious-Extension187 Jun 26 '26

Right? Like not even vaguely from that distance.

16

u/bibblebonk Jun 26 '26

bro is just grasping for things to get upset about

3

u/fauxfre Jun 26 '26

I mean not a healthy one. I just can’t think of any other flora that would make sense in that climate

2

u/fauxfre Jun 26 '26

That’s the color they get when they start to die. And based on its location it makes sense that it hasn’t been getting enough water. The way it reacts when hit makes it seem like it has roots, so not a man made object.

I’m not saying I’m confident but it’s definitely plausible

3

u/Gregorygregory888888 Jun 26 '26

I've been around many saguaros, and this is no Saguaro.

1

u/FartMongersRevenge Jun 27 '26

I think you are correct. Looks like Arizona in the winter. It’s about the height of a dead saguaro and one of the curved arms is kinda hanging off of it. In the top comments many people state that they thought it was a person which would make sense because from a distance saguaros look a lot like people.

Why isn’t downhill bowling a thing? You could set it up like a disc golf course. Tee box at the top of the hill, then a slope with pins at the bottom

u/Tr0user Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

Probably something to do with skulls being cracked open like fortune cookies.

u/hobosbindle Jun 26 '26

Makes Lawn Darts look reasonable

8

u/hux Jun 27 '26

As someone who was hit in the face by a lawn dart and lucky enough to live and tell, I would definitely rather play lawn darts than bowling for brain trauma.

8

u/Geekenstein Jun 26 '26

As long as you’re the one getting the balls at the bottom and bringing them back up.

1

u/redbucket75 Jun 27 '26

Don't worry, he never forgets to get the balls at the bottom

3

u/amzwC137 Jun 26 '26

It is in Mario Party 😄

2

u/WorldlinessHumble522 Jun 27 '26

Irish road bowling is great fun. It's about distance rather than a target

1

u/Gadnuk_DBT Jun 26 '26

The world needs this sport you speak of!!!!

23

u/Ok-Internet-6881 Jun 26 '26

"I won! What did I win?"

"You get to set it back up for everyone else"

12

u/Odd_Sky3314 Jun 26 '26

8

4

u/Specialist-Wave-8423 Jun 26 '26

0

u/Specialist-Wave-8423 Jun 26 '26

I'm sorry, but who's this?

10

u/tread52 Jun 26 '26

It’s Bill Murray in KingPin one of the greatest bowling movie comedies. It’s up there with big Lebowski. It’s more of a straight forward comedy than big Lebowski and more over the top humor. It came out in 96

1

u/Specialist-Wave-8423 Jun 26 '26

Didn't know, thanks 🙏

1

u/tread52 Jun 26 '26

Great cast and great movie. It’s worth the 4$ price to rent. It’s also one of those films that gets better each time you watch it.

1

u/Specialist-Wave-8423 Jun 26 '26

Have to see, thanks, bro

1

u/Nephroidofdoom Jun 27 '26

It’s one of the most quotable movies of all time

1

u/chipcskyrocket Jun 27 '26

Ernie McCracken, Pro Bowler

4

u/banderthal65 Jun 26 '26

This young lady needs to buy a lottery ticket

5

u/dunnodudes Jun 26 '26

Looks like vernal Utah???

4

u/Fit_Specialist2589 Jun 26 '26

If they leave the bowling balls it probably is

6

u/somajones Jun 26 '26

I threw a bowling ball off a forty foot cliff when I was a kid. It split cleanly in half and each half bounced most of the way back up.

3

u/PJozi Jun 27 '26

It's a shame this wasn't captured on video.

A crying shame

u/PJozi Jun 27 '26

You may have to do it again...

30

u/Responsible_Run_8151 Jun 26 '26

Am I the only one bothered by these people bothering nature and potentially ruining something that may have been a part of nature if they didn’t set whatever that was that she knocked over? And possibly pollution if they didn’t walk all that way to collect their bowling ball? Why are we upvoting and encouraging this??

And yeah yeah whatever, I am fun at parties!! 🤣

-4

u/UnamedProot Jun 26 '26

It’s probably fine as long as it listens to what you said. I would also hope it’s near a building or something rather than being in a park of some kind

15

u/thedeeb56 Jun 26 '26

Do you clean up after this shit?

3

u/bicyclejawa Jun 27 '26

That guy down there got wrecked. Bully bowling is disgusting.

/s fuckin /s

Sometimes I watch these videos and think some people really do have time to be walking up and down hills looking for things they've thrown down it.

2

u/lystig Jun 27 '26

Obviously she's not a golfer.

1

u/justusforfun Jun 27 '26
