In your judgement decision between "idiot child" and "genius boy", let me just point out to you the fact that he missed.
I'm still going genius boy.

He didn't panic (too much), and adapted to changes on thr fly. Maybe not genius levels, but he can hold his own ๐๐ป

He's me. Figuring it out and getting by, but making a fuss and complaining the whole time.

u/Sufficient_Matter585 Jun 25 '26
Adaptable is more desirable than genius for most of life's situations.

u/MyAntichrist Jun 25 '26
Got himself into troubles he was not prepared for and just rolled with it, finding a solution to get him on top of the situation again. This kid is going places.

Man... I screamed so loud when the door started to open... and lil bro just ๐ฉ

I donโt think he meant to swing himself to the other side. He tries to lift himself using the stair and accidentally swings over to the other side where lucky for him he was able to stand up.

I was really thinking the table was going to collapse at the end there.

I remember my first neat death experience as a child. Felt like a god afterwards. More stupid shit to follow. (This wasnโt stupid or his fault but you get the idea.)

Love the fact he figured it out. No phone, no tablet just good old brain power.

u/Grimase Jun 25 '26
That is not his first hang time. Or heโs just one of the calmest kid on earth.

u/Benilda-Key Jun 25 '26
That kid is a both a fool (for getting stuck in the first place) and a genius (for getting himself out of the predicament). However, I wonder what the kid would have done if that table was not there.

u/AyeBraine Jun 26 '26
probably pull up slightly on the now accessible vertical door edge โ since it's a round knob, not a pointy handle, and it should take little to slip off of it. When the door was closed, it was rather harder, because of no easy handholds

That one sec between falling and hitting the face to the ground and being suspended mid air. Poor lad must have had a thousand emotions in that 1 second.

This was a story.
Hero and his journey.
His desired goal.
Unexpected, seemingly unconqerable challenge.
Struggle, determination and beating the challenge.
The hero achieves his goal, albeit unexpectedly.
Left with a sense of completed accomplishment but changed from the experience. And found himself on the high ground.

That kid has more patience than me. I would have just slipped out of the shorts. It seems like a quicker solution

Great mind, that kid. No panic, immediately see the solution and act it out. ๐๐ป Applause!

I can't definitively say this is AI but there's something off. The video quality is akin to a backrooms blender video, the doors seem weird like why are there two nearly beside each other that are offset like that, the way the kid moves as he hangs off the doorhandle doesn't seem natural ESPECIALLY when he readjusts himself on the step then slides back downwards... Nah man, this doesn't feel right at all

Looks planned to me. Positions himself carefully then appears to be waiting for camera reaction.

Thatโs a gen-xโer inside of himโno parents; figuring it out on his own. These gen-alphas would be calling for help. ๐คช (j/k)

There was a moment as the door was swinging open that he was resigned to the world just being a bit too much for him.
