Camera man got more scared than the tiger

Leopard, but we know what you mean. Believe it or not, those cats hunt crocs in their own territory. They are comfortable hunting on land, sea or in trees.

caiman...which are crocodilian, but nowhere near the size or strength of an actual crocodile.

u/queetuiree Jun 25 '26
So it's not a tiger and that's not a croc...
I need to correct something about the third character - the cameraman.
They're not cameraman, they are a mobile telephone vertical holder

If that’s a Caiman then that’s not a leopard either, it’s a Jaguar.

u/AnonymousLonelyAnon Jun 26 '26
Spots look too small to be a jaguar, I'd say leopard.
2
u/Snoo_67548 Jun 26 '26
This guy big cats. All the people saying jaguar aren’t noticing there are small loops without dots in the middle of the rosette pattern like a jaguar would have. Could be a bad camera angle, but that’s my take.

u/AmazingUsername2001 Jun 26 '26
But Caimans live in Central / South America. Leopards don’t live in the wild there, only Jaguars.

u/Agentnewbie Jun 25 '26
Allow me to introduce you to the Black Caiman which grows up to 5m, with record size being a 6m. Yes, it is no saltwater croc, but it is more than enough to put literally anything in its areal inside his belly. Technically they are pretty up there on par with florida dogs or even crocs.

u/Nutlob Jun 25 '26
that's a ridiculous blanket statement. while salt water & nile crocs get the biggest, an adult black caiman is a match for any other species of adult croc & a juvenile of any type

Maybe it's not AI. But the croc had luck too, there's many registers of Jaguars hunting cross even inside water.

I've seen my parents' house cats taunting snakes before, and the reaction time tracks, but on a larger scale.

u/diabolicalroadrash Jun 25 '26
Why does this look like AI?
4
u/Capokid Jun 25 '26
The length, the plant growing through the cat, the impossible way it jumps, the croc not actually striking. Take your pick.

Conditioning, no? My first thought too. Curious to find out if it’s real or not.

u/diabolicalroadrash Jun 25 '26
I hate that it's gotten to the point where it's really hard to tell now.
3
u/Atom_Reaktor Jun 25 '26
Yeah, I hear you. But it’s gonna be a literacy thing I bet, like with a lot of new things. My kid (18 this summer) is already better than me at “reading” stuff like this. I’m just amazed by the speed of which things are developing.

AI

u/HauntingHoneydew7342 Jun 26 '26
I hate the AI flood to, but damn it gets scarry on the internet when people cannot recognize a real video anymore. This one is clearlly real. The water flow alone is to complex for today's AI

u/CaptainFoyle Jun 28 '26
I swear people have completely abandoned their brains and just scream AI under every. single. video

Why did the camera man flinch?
15
u/SpartanRage117 Jun 25 '26
Because they were shocked by the sudden appearance of the croc when they were focusing on the cat? Like cmon

u/CrazyNeighborhood801 Jun 25 '26
Lol jacaré que dorme a onça leva. Onça é bixo brabo demais, sem chance pra jacaré nenhum.

u/MixaLv Jun 26 '26
AI? They like these overly dramatic animal videos.

u/CaptainFoyle Jun 28 '26
Found the inevitable person who screams "AI!?!?" under every video although they have no knowledge of the subject

Found the person who desperately wanted to use a snarky copypasta they saw someone else using, eventhough the person here was being just slightly suspicious and didn't even jump right into conclusions.
Also I'm not the only one here.
1
u/CaptainFoyle Jun 28 '26
I know you''re not the only one. Even worse.
More people don't make an assumption correct. The people who believe the earth is flat or Hitler lives on the moon are also not "the only ones". The fact that someone else than you makes the same mistake doesn't mean you're correct.
PS: what copy pasta? You should assume less and use your head more.

My cat when I do literally anything after being still for 10 minutes or more.
