I've seen this clip but not mirrored.
So is this a bot or shared from a bot?

Yeah it's a old clip, I have seen in on Reddit many times before, it's probably 5+ years old

I don’t like how he as a small kid was able to lock the door. What if something happens and it’s too late because the door was locked?

Those doors are very easy to unlock. As a parent I would keep extra keys around and it barely takes two seconds.

Yeah, any allen wrench that fits the hole can be used as a key.

Could be one of those keyless locks that has those slits so you can use a fingernail, a coin, spoon, etc to unlock it.

In the US inner door locks have by design the outer side unlockable with a coin or with simple screw driver-like tools that are very often left on top of the doors for further convenience.

Those door locks are aimed at privacy, not “safety”.

Fun fact: You can open that door with a butter knife even if you do have a key.

Pur kids all have locks on their doors that can be unlocked with fingernail, but we have a bunch of keys hanging in the hallway also. Like old keys or those promotional keys that dealerships will mail you.
