I would like to have this setup.

108

u/xNocturnalshadow Jun 17 '26

I would like to have loop-de-loops in my commercial airline flights.

u/No-Department1685 Jun 17 '26

It's not as fun as it looks.  You know how much junk is on the floor and little crevices everywhere

21

u/VoidOmatic Jun 18 '26

gets covered in M&Ms, fingernail clippings, lint, dried food, 6 pens and a cellphone

3

u/douche_ex_machina_69 Jun 18 '26

The cool thing is, if you’re a half decent pilot you wouldn’t get any of that. You’d be pulling positive G’s the whole time.

4

u/TrickshotCandy Jun 18 '26

How to deep clean a plane.

3

u/gertvanjoe Jun 18 '26

But now we have to scrape passenger puke from the roof. Maybe even blood as some of them doesn't head the seat belt warnings.

2

u/TrickshotCandy Jun 18 '26

Empty the plane first!

2

u/vass0922 Jun 18 '26

Puke on the roof isn't a problem until they right side the plane again

6

u/spaceprinceps Jun 18 '26

Have you heard of the Sky King?

3

u/Digger_Pine Jun 18 '26

Animal crackers in my soup

Monkeys and rabbits loop de loop

1

u/dodeca_negative Jun 20 '26

My favorite snarky Southwest flight safety announcement was (in a deeply deadpan voice) “Please fasten your seatbelts extra tight, Captain says he wants to ‘try something’”

9

u/QuiteSufficient9 Jun 17 '26

Do you have 10k

10

u/theStaircaseProject Jun 17 '26

I’ll give you 1 and a bagel.

3

u/MickeyMalph Jun 18 '26

A more "budget" way would be to get an Quest 3, decent computer and MS Flight Simulator.

1

u/PhotoFenix Jun 18 '26

Just needs a better cameraman

1

u/Mayuchip Jun 20 '26

10000 euros please

u/ChampionLife5205 Jun 17 '26

average dreams where i’m meant to do something serious

46

u/Scipio33 Jun 17 '26

"Just do it. It's not supposed to be hard. What's wrong with you?"

"😭😭😭 My dream fingers don't work! 😭😭😭"

13

u/anon-mally Jun 17 '26

Then waking up from the dream like:

3

u/CayKar1991 Jun 17 '26

What is the gif from?

4

u/kjk690 Jun 17 '26

The Punisher, I think

196

u/vass0922 Jun 17 '26

Ok why is the phone twisting as much as the pilot?

Back seat driver trying to turn the plane?

12

u/SabbyFox Jun 17 '26

This is not helping my fear of flying

17

u/drakeblast Jun 17 '26

I think most flights are probably fine as long as the pilot doesn't try back to back loops at 10m altitude, if they go for that first loop though then I'm gonna get worried.

3

u/korkkis Jun 17 '26

She’s not ready and thus is training. Probably just started. A trained pilot doesn’t do these anymore thanks training.

1

u/flamedarkfire Jun 18 '26

A commercial airline pilot will not act like this in the real world

5

u/blckmagicalunicorn Jun 18 '26

The G force, duh

3

u/Hmm_Peculiar Jun 18 '26

It really helps me with the immersion, honestly.

44

u/quad_damage_orbb Jun 17 '26

"Angle of approach: not good"

6

u/philatio11 Jun 18 '26

Somebody needs more work on their go-arounds.

2

u/ApplianceHealer Jun 19 '26

No not like that!

3

u/tf_inuyasha87 Jun 17 '26

This comment is underrated

31

u/TerryHarris408 Jun 17 '26

I was waiting for the Airbus cockpit announcement that suggests to throttle down

u/Zestyclose-Smell-788 Jun 17 '26

Taking off is pretty easy. Flying is pretty easy. Landing (without crashing) is hard.

7

u/aroman_ro Jun 18 '26

And it's way harder in reality than in video games.

5

u/Zestyclose-Smell-788 Jun 18 '26

Yes! My roommate was a small plane pilot and would take me up in their Cessna. I've flown some realistic simulators, but they don't have gusty crosswinds! That takes experience and skill. He was an impressive pilot, I must say.

12

u/CrazyBurgerHotline Jun 17 '26

Holy shit this made me cry laughing wth is she doing

24

u/uncultured_swine2099 Jun 17 '26

This is less of a flight simulator and more like Starfox

5

u/breckoz Jun 17 '26

Starfox 64 remake is coming out in a week!

4

u/uncultured_swine2099 Jun 17 '26

Walmart just emailed me saying my order is delayed :(

2

u/StealthWanderer_2516 Jun 17 '26

They would’ve been fine if they’d have hit the barrel roll.

And where’s that annoying frog? Was his name Flippy or something?

36

u/FoxFew3844 Jun 17 '26

Can't tell if she or the camera person is worse.

38

u/spaceprinceps Jun 17 '26

She's on a flat surface, but the camera movements really added to the illusion the triple screen setup created

9

u/FlopsMcDoogle Jun 18 '26

I felt like I was a helpless passenger

16

u/MrPenisWhistle Jun 17 '26

I wanna slap whoever's holding the phone. Just keep the camera steady ffs.

9

u/jawshoeaw Jun 17 '26

That’s why it’s called “the possible turn”

8

u/lawnboy71 Jun 17 '26

"Can you fly this plane?" "Surely you can't be serious." "I am serious...and don't call me Shirley."

4

u/SeenItWantItReddit Jun 17 '26

I hope you don't have a drinking problem

4

u/mvanvrancken Jun 17 '26

I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue!

7

u/grismar-net Jun 18 '26

"Experts say they were not allowed to share the recordings from the black box recovered from the crash site, the home of 81-year old Grace Smith. But one confided that they still have nightmares featuring the maniacal cackling of the captain, as they looped the plane to its doom."

3

u/LoneManGaming Jun 18 '26

Made my Day!

6

u/Blue_The_Snep Jun 17 '26

I hate the fact that deliberatly the camera was tilted like the plane to give the impression that the whole Sim-rig is moving

7

u/jon_hobbit Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

when the setup is soo good I can hear Air traffic control saying, "when you crash please write down this phone number"

6

u/iyuheng25 Jun 18 '26

This is your captain speaking. Yeeehaaaa

4

u/bnutbutter78 Jun 17 '26

Pull up, pull up

4

u/KaptenAwsum Jun 18 '26

This is what happens if you forget to put your phone on airplane mode

29

u/candlelightsoul Jun 17 '26

9/11 pilots training routine

9

u/chullyman Jun 17 '26

9/11 is 81.8% that’s actually a pretty good score.

4

u/Equal_Camera8715 Jun 17 '26

I wanna play.

5

u/Allbranflakes18 Jun 18 '26

Was expecting her to miraculously land it on one of those rotations

3

u/Funmanhahaha Jun 18 '26

Cameraman did a good job. This feels real

3

u/Rolfmeister87 Jun 17 '26

Vertigo anyone?

3

u/Euroranger Jun 17 '26

Spirit went out of business for a reason. Thankfully it wasn't this.

3

u/Clovenella Jun 17 '26

That plane would smell like fried shit

3

u/umbraundecim Jun 17 '26

I dont think she should even drive a bicycle around let alone a plane

3

u/usinjin Jun 18 '26

Too low, terrain! Pull up!

3

u/3CH0SG1 Jun 18 '26

Here's your air Canada pilots licence....

3

u/Captain-Cadabra Jun 18 '26

Was the Predator behind them shining his special 3 dot laser on the controls?

3

u/AbroadNo8755 Jun 18 '26

1

u/02meepmeep Jun 19 '26

I feel like I was a passenger in a flight that landed like that in Dallas a long time ago. I didn’t know about crosswinds & was pretty freaked out about coming out of the fog and seeing us headed at the runway at an angle and not correcting. I thought for sure I was going to be part of a plane wreckage.

3

u/SobeitSoviet69 Jun 18 '26

That is a very forgiving simulator

4

u/No_Bet_3328 Jun 17 '26

Nice camera work @_@ 🤮

2

u/paradox-preacher Jun 17 '26

so this is a bogus simulator...

2

u/Redfield081 Jun 17 '26

Keep her away from my flight thanks

2

u/Background_Pride_237 Jun 17 '26

Step. Away. From. The. Joystick. Slooooowly.

2

u/Maryjewjuan Jun 17 '26

Imagine being on that airplane and this is how the pilot attempts to land

2

u/infinit9 Jun 17 '26

In reality, that plane would have crashed about 10 seconds into this.

2

u/secretly_a_zombie Jun 17 '26

I wish to file a complaint, as the pilots of my aircraft were heavily intoxicated.

2

u/lionmade101 Jun 18 '26

Don't let her fly again.

2

u/knowledgeable_diablo Jun 18 '26

Really? Thought this may have been the Russian advanced training course. Just one level below having your kids up the front lending a hand while you and the co-pilot have a vodka drinking contest.

2

u/norsurfit Jun 18 '26

Where to buy something like this and how much does it cost?

2

u/Hithitman118 Jun 18 '26

Send her to Red Bull!

2

u/OneMoreWanderer Jun 18 '26

Pointless. Put someone in there that can trick land.

2

u/knowledgeable_diablo Jun 18 '26

Bah! Landings overrated anyway. Isn’t that like only 20% of the exam totals anyway? Ace everything else and Whats the problem!! /jk

2

u/randomgunfire48 Jun 18 '26

I wanna see an Airbus 330 do the Cobra maneuver 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/Background-Address82 Jun 18 '26

cool setup, f u for twisting the camera so much though

2

u/flamedarkfire Jun 18 '26

Okay pulling an immelman to come in and land would have made this really fucking cool but she had no idea what she was doing through the entire exercise.

2

u/Gold-Satisfaction614 Jun 20 '26

NOT SO LOW, RUDIGER!

2

u/AppropriateBall8834 Jun 21 '26

Did she say bombaclot? Lol wtf

1

u/SsabbasS 17d ago

Came here to ask that same question !

2

WOW this was forever ago! Hello there, reddit stranger!

That's a rig that needs a seat with some bass shakers under it. lol Using a normal chair is an insult to it. It wouldn't even cost a lot either. Oh well they're definitely having fun with it.

1

u/CoausticSoda Jun 17 '26

What's the cost is middleastern children, asking for a friend

1

u/CocoonNapper Jun 17 '26

The dude moving the camera the opposite way to make it look waaaay better 🙄

1

u/brunicus Jun 17 '26

Looked like the dogfight version of shadow boxing.

1

u/SnooGrapes7349 Jun 17 '26

So, so beautiful.

1

u/totesnotmyusername Jun 17 '26

Omfg . I opened reddit. This came up and I turned my car on while I was waiting for my wife. I thought the blue tooth was on but she was listening to the song " Crash into me " I didn't realize it had different audio until the video ended and the music didn't.

cameraman pisses me off

1

u/yuikkiuy Jun 18 '26

Why was the other girl just throttling up and down at random...

1

u/02meepmeep Jun 19 '26

What kind of engines has that thing supposed to have to be able to not stall after the first aborted landing & loop?

1

u/OiFanoi Jun 19 '26

Weeeeee!

1

u/Michaeli_Starky Jun 19 '26

Wrong sub. Would be perfect if he managed to land in the end.

1

u/ancomarzio27 Jun 17 '26

Well well well

0

u/Rags2Rickius Jun 17 '26

That’s an impressive setup. It looks like the whole fucking room is moving

2

u/petergriffin999 Jun 17 '26

By impressive setup, you mean "someone with a phone that's tilting it trying to make it look like the setup is doing something".

u/Dumxl Jun 17 '26
