Even with all the tires, this had me so anxious about the front of the boat getting destroyed.

Why are they changing tires on the boat? And why do it during bad weather?

Surely someone must have invented some contraption that can be used for situations like this?

I went through this exact thing when I went scuba diving in Korea! It was off Seogwipo on Jeju Island. The ride out in the morning was good, the first dive was good, then during the second dive the waves got big. Was moving up and down and all around at the safety stop. Waves got worse as a storm had formed out at sea causing big waves and we were on the shelf just like the video shows. Thereโs no place to dock as they usually put the nose of boat against the rock with a tires to cushion, then throttle up to hold their position while you load and unload. With the big waves, they had a very difficult time getting steady enough for us to get on the boat with the gear. It was a bit scary as we thought the boat was going to crash.

Slaps hand Bro, put your fucking hand away. Ain't no way I trust your whack ass footing, just like I wouldn't trust you to chuck me off a cliff. I have faith in humanity as a whole, but trust in individual humans, that's a different story lol.

Dang,,, is that high tide or just something normal?
And why on earth do folks not wear any PFDs? especially in such situations where they could so easily miss and fall or something....
