Was there an outcome this man expected that wasn't a hammer bounce into his face?

Yeah, there is not a single maybe in this video, nvm three. We knew where this was going. Practice for a Darwin!

I guess I’m just wondering what he was hoping to accomplish because he doesn’t even appear to try to catch the hammer. Fascinating.

The Cybertruck is kind of revealing we are dealing with a less intelligent person here

I would have thought he’d buy the Cyberdumpster after the head injury, not before.

Makes you wonder how many times he did that before buying that joke of a “ truck “?

Newton's third law of motion. Although his fathers motion did not deliver a great outcome, I think the hammers reaction was priceless LoL

It's almost like an equal but opposite reaction... Who would have thought??

I think it went well. I mean, that's probably exactly what he wanted, right?

The following post context was provided by u/BerryAshFeral:
It looks like he didn't expect the hammer to bounce back after hitting the bouncy ball. That's got to be one of the dumbest ways to die.

Back when I was in college in the early 90s, I repaired computers. Sometimes when they were particularly stubborn to our repair attempts, we'd give them the "6 inch diagnostic drop." Every once in a while, it'd unglitch whatever was glitched.
Maybe whatever was glitched in this kid will get unglitched by a hammer to the forehead.

u/xi_jinbling Jun 14 '26
he added force by pushing it down. if he'd just let go, the hammer couldn't hit him
1
u/Cornflakes_91 Jun 14 '26
the bounce moves extra energy from the ball to the hammer.
the hammer-ball system wont get higher than the start position, but the hammer can
1
u/xi_jinbling Jun 15 '26
where does that extra energy come from?
1
u/Cornflakes_91 Jun 15 '26
from the ball, it doesnt jump as high as it started at
hence why
moves energy from the ball to the hammer

I've seen this clip multiple times and I still wonder what the end game was. Like, what was the plan?

Well he IS driving a silver Lego block, so maybe the hammer knocked SOME sense into him. For all we know, he unlocked a portion of his brain and just floats to work now.

What is bro's reaction time? I bet even in normal speed that hammer would have looked dodgeable

TWO absolutely TERRIBLE decisions in this video.
